document One-on-One Attention
For quality legal representation focused on estate planning and family law, enlist the experienced staff at the Law Offices of Bonnie Peters-Lawston. We counsel clients in Probate and Estate Administration. We pride ourselves on the quality of representation that we provide to our clients as well as keeping you informed about your case. We advise our clients weekly and sometimes daily as to the events that transpire in their cases as well as educating our clients about the law. Our personalized service and information that we provide you helps us as team make better decisions for your case and tailor our legal services to better fit your unique needs.

The majority of our clients live outside of Suffolk County, Long Island and even outside of New York. Many of our clients reside in Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Westchester, White Plains etc... and serve as executors and administrators of their loved one's Estate. Our clients that have email access generally receive updates on their case several times a week and find that such communication works better then telephone calls since they can read what is going on with their case. Its instant notification for everyone. If you do not have access to email, communicating by telephone is fine.

We also handle Will contests and other types of litigation involving Wills and Administration proceedings. Our office provides full service to our clients who are serving as executors and administrators of their loved one's estates. We can assist you in getting the assets collected, prepare the assets to be brought to a condition to be sold, secure the assets and complete the sale of same as well as the accounting and final distribution of the estate assets as needed.

Our office recently was contacted by a gentleman from Florida who lost his Aunt suddenly. Upon contacting our office over the weekend, we immediately secured the home. Our support team was able to search the home for records and assets in order to collect same. The house was then cleaned and restored to its original condition to be sold. Our client was then able to leave Florida and come to New York for just three days. We met our client for the first time in person. All other communication was via telephone, mail and internet. The house was sold, the assets all marshaled and the accounting was done. Upon final approval of our client, our client received his executor's fee and the funds were distributed to the beneficiaries, in this case, charities. This client will send us an email to say hi or wish us a happy holiday. And we do the same. It is a pleasure to assist someone in a time this is so upsetting and have them be so very happy with our services.

Educating Our Clients
Our firm is committed to handling cases with a personal touch, remaining accessible to clients, and returning phone calls in a timely manner. We take the time to educate our clients on the legal aspects of their case and make sure they understand their legal options. With this knowledge, our clients can make informed decisions regarding how to proceed with their case, and our legal advice always keeps our clients' best interests in mind.
